Qualifications

Giuseppe graduated from Bologna University in 2007 and has always had a strong interest in small animal surgery. He moved to the UK in 2014 where he worked for one year as an intern in a busy referral hospital. After that he spent time working in a first opinion practice before joining Dovecote Veterinary Hospital in 2016. Giuseppe has worked at Manchester Veterinary Specialist, an orthopaedic referral centre. In September 2018 he qualified as an Advanced Practitioner (Cert. AVP) and has almost completed his surgical certificate. He has over four years of experience working alongside European specialists managing orthopaedic and soft tissue cases.

Giuseppe enjoys all aspects of surgery with a particular interest in cranial cruciate ligament disease, oncology and wound management. He will complement both our orthopaedic and soft tissue service at Dovecote Veterinary Hospital and is hoping to start an ECVS-approved surgical residency programme in the near future.
