Neutering dogs and cats – what, why, when, where, who & how?
The talk will discuss current evidence around this topic and should hopefully allow for some open debate and discussion around areas of controversy and disagreement. There will also be a chance to consider the pros and cons around some of the newer surgical neutering procedures. For example, what is the difference between the strangle, constrictor, Miller’s and modified Miller’s knots, and does it matter? Hopefully, the evening will prove both informative and thought-provoking, although definitive answers to the questions in the talk’s title are most certainly not guaranteed!
