James graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1991. He completed a three year small animal surgery residency at Edinburgh University in 2000 and became a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) the following year. He has been an RCVS specialist since 2008. He has 25 years of experience working in small animal referral practice performing orthopaedics and spinal surgery. He is also a member of the ECVS credentials committee, a 4 year appointment to the body that oversees ECVS resident training.
James is happy to see all orthopaedic cases but he has a particular interest in arthroscopy and the correction of limb deformities.
