Shannen qualified from Nottingham Trent University in 2014 and has a keen interest in referral work and imaging. Alongside working at Dovecote Veterinary Hospital, she runs a hedgehog rescue where she takes in injured hedgehogs and rehabilitates them to be released back into the wild.

Outside of work she enjoys walking her dog and spending time with her other animals.
