Wound management – new & old strategies to encourage a wound to heal
2nd January 2020
Dovecote Veterinary Hospital are hosting a free CPD lecture with Rob White BSc (Hons) BVetMed CertVA DSAS (Soft Tissue) DipIECVS FRCVS. Although the talk is vet based, everyone is welcome to attend.
Wound management
The management of skin wounds is a regular occurrence in small practice; many will heal with little attention, while others stubbornly resist healing despite our best efforts. What are the tips and tricks that can be used to turn a chronic non-healing wound into one that heals quickly without complication?
During this evening meeting both the science and art required for successful wound management will be discussed. The talk will use a number of case examples to highlight the principles and practice of successful and effective wound assessment and management.
An overview of wound care products – some old and some new – will be provided and there will also be the opportunity for delegates to discuss some of their own problem cases.
